I spent a great deal of one-on-one time with both of my grandparents during the first and second COVID-19 lockdowns that took place over the Spring and Summer of 2020. Isolated, we faced this period as family and strengthened our bond through this developing journey of unpredictability.
We depended on each other more than ever, but also found comfort in finding things to do on our own developing new hobbies and attending to household chores and procrastination; even using our time to charitably, preparing necessities for those without access during a time where resources were strained.
These moments, a stark reminder of the familiar space we lived, ate, and shared that suddenly felt less familiar than ever, in a time that became lost and abstract.

My first photo-book titled, Everything Will Kill You, So Choose Something Proactive, is a collection of images shot from 2018 to 2022. The images in this book were shot entirely during my time at university in Swansea, stretching from my initial year as a BA Photojournalism and Documentary student up to the very end of my time as an MA postgraduate. While most of the photos were shot in Britain, I have also shared a selection of my work covering protests in both America and France.
Topics such as Brexit, Black Lives Matter, Kill the Bill, Antifascist, Anti-Islamist EDL, football hooligans, Free Palestine, abortion, Anti-Lockdown, Donald Trump, and plain Anarchism are all featured in this work and it was these challenging issues that have piqued my interest in documenting more than what we see on TV, images and sound deemed uncivil for a common audience.
I would like to thank a number of people that have either directly or indirectly supported my work throughout the years, allowing me to continue sharing these stories, the people that encompass them, and their impact on the way we live our lives.
