On November 7th after four-days of grueling anticipation, most national media organizations projected that Biden had clinched enough electoral votes to be named the U.S. president-elect. Fast forward 2 months, many of those that had voted for President Trump felt they had been cheated due to a nationwide systemic error.

Outside the Capitol in Phoenix, Arizona on January 6th, "stop the steal" could be heard as thousands gathered in the hopes to overturn the Electoral Vote happening in Washington D.C over 2,000 miles away. At a time when the COVID-19 pandemic had seen up to 10,000 new cases in a single day [in Arizona] and rising, masks were nowhere to be seen, whereas semi-automatic rifles and handguns were.

Former President Trump could be seen on a mega-screen live from D.C stoking the emotions of his followers across the country which eventually led to an insurrection that resulted in 5 dead police officers and over 130 injured.
